Privacy and cookies

In short

Reading Mamavela needs no account and no sign-up. The tools (due date, weeks, ovulation, contractions, starting solids) do their calculations in your browser: the dates you enter are never sent to us. We never sell or rent any data.

Controller

LACANGEL GROUP (SAS, SIREN 995 268 018, 1 rue Marguerin, 75014 Paris, France) for orders; Clem corp (Clément Lacaille) for the site. Contact: administration@lacangel.fr.

What is stored in your browser (never sent)

Your light or dark choice, the state of the checklists, the contraction timer list, and the pregnancy start date worked out by a tool (to show "you are about X weeks") are kept in your browser's local storage. You can clear them by deleting the site's data; the "you are about X weeks" bar also has a button to clear it.

Orders

 • Payment: by Stripe Payments Europe (Ireland). We never see your card number. Data: name, email, country, and the delivery address for physical products.
 • Ebook delivery: the confirmation and delivery email is sent through Resend (email delivery provider); your email address is printed on the cover of your PDFs.
 • Physical products: orders go through our shop engine (hosted in the European Union) and the delivery address is passed to the logistics provider that packs and ships the parcel.
 • Legal basis: performance of the contract and our accounting obligations (invoices kept for 10 years).

1-click purchase. After a first ebook purchase, a technical cookie `fx1c` (HttpOnly, secure) holds only your signed Stripe customer identifier, for 13 months. It is used only to offer 1-click buying with the card Stripe keeps; it is not used for analytics or advertising. You can delete it in your browser and ask for the card to be deleted at administration@lacangel.fr.

Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4) and cookies

Only if you agree, we measure site traffic and sales with Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; measurement ID G-44H9N5K4CF). Purpose: knowing which pages are read and which purchase buttons are used, to improve the site and its offers. Data measured: pages viewed, clicks on purchase buttons, confirmed purchases (hashed order number, product, amount), device type, approximate country. GA4 does not store IP addresses. No data is used for advertising.

Nothing is stored or sent to Google before you choose: Google's script loads only after you click “Accept” (consent mode v2, everything denied by default). “Decline” is as easy as “Accept”. Your choice is kept for 6 months in your browser's local storage; Google's measurement cookies (_ga, _ga_*) last at most 13 months. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Withdraw or change your choice at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Google Cloud EMEA Limited on a server in the European Union. Technical server logs (IP address, page requested) are kept for a few weeks for security.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, object to processing or ask for portability by writing to administration@lacangel.fr. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
